Our mission is to empower new graduates, entry-level professionals, and freshers to navigate the early stages of their careers, share knowledge, and build lasting connections. Fresherfy is a self-moderating community. However, our community team may take action if people disrespect each other, act in a non-professional manner, provoke others, practice toxic behavior, or engage in bad faith. This is applicable to all Fresherfy users, including moderators.

Fresherfy is for real people, real conversations, and real change. To ensure our impact is good and never harmful, and to create a space where everyone can openly share their professional thoughts, knowledge, skills, and achievements, we'd like to share our community guidelines:

  • Help Each Other Grow: Our community thrives when members share knowledge and offer helpful advice. Contribute to discussions, share your experiences, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Be Positive and Encouraging: Starting a career can be challenging. Let's lift each other up by sharing positive stories, encouraging words, and helpful resources.
  • Provide Value: When asking questions or providing answers, ensure your posts are informative and relevant to the community.

3. Content and Information Sharing

  • Relevant and Professional Content: Share content that aligns with career development, job-seeking, skill-building, and other professional topics. Avoid off-topic discussions and non-career-related content.
  • No Spam or Self-Promotion: Fresherfy is not a platform for direct marketing or unsolicited promotions. Self-promotion is permitted only in designated channels (if available) and should offer clear value to the community.
  • Originality: Share original content or give proper credit to sources. Plagiarism or posting uncredited materials is prohibited.

4. Job and Internship Posts

  • Job and Internship Opportunities:Only verified job and internship opportunities relevant to freshers and entry-level professionals should be posted.
  • Clear Details: When sharing job opportunities, provide all essential details (e.g., job role, requirements, application process). Avoid vague or misleading job posts.
  • No Misrepresentation: Do not share opportunities with hidden costs, multi-level marketing schemes, or misleading job descriptions.

5. Questions and Discussions

  • Ask Meaningful Questions: Use the platform to ask questions about career paths, skill development, or industry trends. Avoid asking questions that could easily be answered by a quick internet search.
  • Contribute Thoughtfully: Respond to questions and engage in discussions in a way that is helpful and encouraging to others. Provide clear, thoughtful answers when possible.
  • Use Appropriate Channels: If there are dedicated channels or categories, use them to keep discussions organized.

6. Networking Etiquette

  • Respect Boundaries:Not everyone is open to one-on-one chats or personal messages. Be respectful if someone declines to connect or engage in private conversations.
  • Add Value in Connections: When reaching out to connect, introduce yourself and mention why you're interested in connecting. Avoid sending “cold” messages without context.
  • No Solicitation in Private Messages: Do not use private messages for unsolicited promotions, job offers, or sales pitches.

7. Reporting and Moderation

  • Report Inappropriate Content: If you see a post or comment that violates our guidelines, use the reporting tools to bring it to the attention of our moderators.
